Mauro Sentinelli
TIM Group, Managing Director and Board Member
Mauro Sentinelli joined SIP (currently Telecom Italia) in 1974.

In 1991 he was appointed director of marketing & planning of SIP's Mobile Division and in 1994 became TIM's deputy managing director. In 1996 Mauro designed and launched the prepaid TIMCard service, for which he received the GSM Association's Outstanding Marketing Award. After a brief sojourn, Mauro returned to TIM in July 1999 as managing director.

In January 2000 he received the Man of the Year 1999 Marketing Award and in February 2002 the GSM Association's Roll of Honour for Lifetime Achievement Award.

In April 2002, Mauro was appointed member of the TIM board of directors.
