GSMA Certified Fraud Training programme
The Fraud Training programme developed by the GSM Association is an industry recognised programme to give the most up-to-date skills and knowledge to those whose job it is to detect fraudulent activity and to minimise its financial impact on an operator's business.
With over 2.5 billion GSM users worldwide and a massive diversity of services on offer, even the smallest percentage of loss can cost the industry dearly. Recent estimates put global fraud losses in excess of $40 billion and rising!
Given the increasing sophistication of fraudsters in their attempts to defeat telecommunication networks, company fraud detection and investigation techniques have to be the very best. The GSMA's programme has been developed and is maintained by leading academic and industry experts in fraud detection and prevention.
The programme is delivered in a series of carefully structured modules to make study easier and help fit in with the pressures of running a commercial operation. Each module is examined so that, having successfully passed all four modules, students achieve an industry-respected qualification.

"I am honoured to be part of the first class receiving this certificate, especially as the first Arab-African laureate. It is also with great joy that I have been benefiting my company "MAROC TELCOM" with all the state of the art information that I acquired through this educational training. And the fact that my employer makes anti fraud efforts one of our main priorities at the company, made this certification even more beneficial" said Zakaria Masiky of MAROC TELECOM.
