There are three types of GSMA membership: Full, Associate and Rapporteur.
Full Membership
Full Membership is open to licensed GSM family mobile network operators (including but not limited to GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS or its equivalent and LTE)..
Associate Membership
Extending membership beyond operators, Associate Membership is open to carriers, suppliers, clearing houses and open connectivity solution providers.
Rapporteur Membership
Rapporteur Membership is open to non-GSM licensed operators moving to LTE/HSPA or those wishing to roam on GSM.
