Mobile Money Advisory Services (MMAS), a consultancy package offered by the GSMA in partnership with Greenwich Consulting, aims to accelerate the number of quality Mobile Money deployments globally.
MMAS is designed as a structured consulting package for mobile operators who are considering entering the Mobile Money market which has the potential to become a US$5 billion opportunity by 2012. By combining the extensive knowledge of the GSMA and the on the ground deployment experience of Greenwich Consulting, MMAS provides an ideal way for mobile operators to investigate a new revenue stream.
The eight week MMAS package is available to mobile operators globally and will provide a complete go to market strategy, including a product roadmap, strategic partnership model, regulatory assessment, business model and marketing plan. In short, everything a mobile operator needs to determine the appropriate Mobile Money deployment for their market and the business case to support it.
